On the Desktop
For Facebook on the desktop, you can turn off auto-play videos in your setups:.
* On Facebook, head to the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner and go to Setups > Video clips. You can also click here to go straight there.
* Beside the Auto-Play Videos setup, click the "On" box as well as change it to "Off.".
Safari individuals might need to try using one more browser, as some people are reporting that this setup does not show up in Safari for some reason.
On Android.
On Android, you can set videos to auto-play only on mobile (to conserve data) or disable them entirely:.
* Open up the Facebook app, open up the left sidebar, and faucet "App Setups.".
* Check the "Auto-Play Videos on Wi-FI Only" box.
On iOS.
On iOS, you can disable auto-playing video clips from the Facebook application's setups:.
