Search Old Facebook Messages 2019

This shows you just how to review your old chat messages on Facebook. You can do this from within the Facebook Messenger application, or you can use the desktop Facebook website.

Search Old Facebook Messages

: > Log-in to your Facebook account. Click in the "Messages" button at the top of the Facebook screen.

: > Click "See All."

: > Click in the "Search Messages" field as well as get in a search term. Click the "Search" switch or press "Enter" on your keyboard.

: > Scroll down the list of messages to discover the message. You may need to click "Load Older Thread" at the end of the screen to display more messages.

: > Sight archived messages by scrolling to the bottom of the web page as well as clicking the "Archived" web link at the end of the page. Scroll with your archived messages, if required.

Tips: If you deleted the message from Facebook Carrier, you likely won't have the ability to obtain them.

Warnings: You can not reply to archived messages.
